The Koffee Klatch cup collection was created in response to the task of designing a range of unique gift-ware for the high street retail market.
Initial Research - Mood board
Following the prompt of “Exit Through the Gift Shop’, this collection took inspiration from Carlton Ware’s retro-kitsch ‘Walking Ware’ designs of the 70’s.
After further research into batch production methods used within the ceramics industry, I made the decision to slip-cast from plaster moulds in order to achieve a uniform finish and quick assembly.
